This privacy policy covers the website getany.app. It does not cover the AnyShare and AnyPaste apps, including their web versions at share.getany.app and paste.getany.app.

This website uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking services and no advertising. It loads nothing from third parties: fonts, images and scripts are all served from our own server. The only personal data involved is in the access logs every web server writes when a page is requested.

The website runs on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in a data centre in Nuremberg, Germany. Hetzner processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

Each time a page is requested, the web server automatically records:

• the IP address of the requesting device,
• the date and time of the request,
• the requested address and the HTTP status code of the response,
• the amount of data transferred,
• the page the request came from (referrer), if the browser sends it,
• the browser identifier (user agent).

We use this data only to run the website, to find errors and to fend off attacks. We do not combine it with other data or analyse it for statistics or advertising. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is operating the website securely and reliably.

The logs are rotated daily and deleted automatically after 15 days at the latest.

If you switch between the light and dark appearance with the toggle in the navigation bar, the website stores your choice in your browser's local storage (localStorage, key theme) so that it persists on your next visit. This value never leaves your device and is not sent to us. Nothing is stored unless you use the toggle. The storage is strictly necessary for a function you have expressly requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

The website links to the AnyShare and AnyPaste web apps. You leave getany.app only when you open such a link; this privacy policy does not cover processing there (see section 1).

You have the right

• to access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
• to have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
• to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
• to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
• to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
• to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).

To exercise them, write to the email address above. Since we do not link server logs to names, we need the IP address and the time of your visit to answer an access request.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the member state of your habitual residence or place of work.

You are not obliged to provide us with any data. Without transmitting its IP address, however, your browser cannot technically load the website. There is no automated decision-making or profiling.
